Traffic Measurement and Information Systems

Traffic measurement systems are used to inform drivers about traffic density, weather conditions and road conditions, to direct them to alternative routes in line with the information provided and to control traffic flow. These systems can display graphics-based text, shapes and images, usually using LED displays, and can be managed scenario-based through map-based central software.

Variable Message System:

It informs drivers by converting the segment information shown in color on the traffic density map into text or image. It contributes to traffic safety by warning drivers about changing road and weather conditions (accidents, icing, fog, etc.).

Electronic Detection System (EDS)

An Electronic Detection System (EDS) consists of technological systems used to automatically detect various traffic violations and digitally document these violations. Its functions include the following:

Average Speed EDS:

It detects vehicles exceeding the speed limit by calculating the average speed information of vehicles passing through the starting and end points on the arteries where it is positioned. Unlike point speed measurement systems, it can measure speed in a specific corridor.

At the points where it is deployed, it automatically detects red light violations and creates digital evidence of the moment of violation. Its high-resolution cameras provide a clear image of the breach even in low light conditions.
